is it just me being silly, or can you almost see the boost creep in the 0-60 curve Paul? the curve noticably lifts towards the end of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.

A mapped TDi lump in a Mk2 shell with Mk4 clocks etc appeals despite being the fuel of the devil as it gives me something to build, still has the classic Mk2 looks and is primarily economical..
You been sniffing brake cleaner again....LOLWas considering looking for a rear ended Mk4 golf 1.9tdi to do the transplant tbh...the Mk2 is my daily runner now, partially due to petrol costs (not that the S3 is thirsty in the way a V8 is) and mostly as I want to keep the miles off the S3 as I do around 1000 miles a month on average...

0-60 in 4.6... that's the same as Audi are quoting for the RS3!
I think Tuffty's S3 hits 60 in 2nd gear, hence the very low time. I know my stage1 does 0-60 in 5.9 requiring 3rd gear according to GTI Inters timing gear.

And jojo, 5.9 with 2 gear changes, that's ****** good, you must be sh1t hot at changing. You should have you rev limit raised and then see, prob another half second easy.
I think I got the times with the replacement gearbox actually, the first one just went for no apparent reason, doesn't seem a common problem though, just unlucky I guess...no wonder jojo has the record for gearbox bangs
