APR Stage 1 map results and problem

So got my S3 APR mapped today by Ecotune, made very good figures, alot more than i expected with a very good power curve.

One problem is when i was driving home if i was full throttle from say 2500rpm then at 3000(ish) rpm the revs would go up to around 3800 and not move very much with lack of power... but if i feather it over the 3000rpm and go say 50% until 3500rpm then 100% throttle then it pulls to redline no bother at all.. can anyone shed some light on this as i dunno if its clutch issues or ecu getting used to the map??

Sounds like the clutch slipping to me. If the RPM increases without a proportional increase in speed the clutch is usually the issue.

Clutch ******** , mapping usually catches it out if it's getting tired .

Time to upgrade - get a Sachs organic and while you are there replace the OEM LUK flywheel and wheel bearing
