Ah man. Im glad i mentioned it now! Well i told them what car it was intended for and they told me the turbo would be quick spooling. Am i better off with a hybrid then?http://www.owendevelopments.co.uk/product/430/Owen_Developments_ODGT2865HTA/
That turbo doesn't appear to be a VNT item, It's designed for use with petrol cars. It's not that you can't use these kind of turbos on diesels but actually without the VNT mechanism the response would be fairly lousy I would have thought. Great when it comes on boost at 3- 3.5K rpm.
Also you would need a seperate wastegate.
Is your car a daily driver or a race track refugee ?
Is that a clutch for the B8 3.0 TDI ? . As the clutch fitted in these cars is not like a normal single clutch plate. It is a double clutch arrangement with a normal friction plate and another friction plate inside the pressure plate. Thus the car essentially has two 230mm clutches. Thats why the standard clutch seems to cope with 750Nm as thats only 375Nm or 275 ft/lb per clutch. There is an uprated clutch available mine is rated at 730nm or 750nm i got it from Sachs in Germany the part maybe 1861v it's the v that makes it uprated. Can't find the link but I did look it up online and got the full parts list somewhere

I am not sure. If it was a reasonably easy mod I wouldn't be surprised if somebody has already done it.Great build this, very impressive.
Do the diesel clutch/flywheel upgrades fit the S4 B8 by chanced you know ?
That's a completely different clutch arrangement on that car. It's just a normal 240mm clutch plate. No it was the b7 asb 3.0tdi engine

It's an Eldiss Typhoon actually .Mrs Desertstorm would not be too happy with a broken clutch plate, parked up in your local seaside village lay by complete with an ABI Marauder in tow!
