So who will take the title this year.
there is alot of drivers switching teams and now the rule changes are more clear (rear wing) then they should all be on a similar level.

I for one is gunning for Alonso. His input in a team to move them forward is second to non and Ive no doubt the Ferrari will be off to a flyer.

Bacause I'm sad, Lewis Hamilton or Jenson Button again. And fireworks at the Ferrari camp between Alonso and Massa. :)

yup im with you Jojo....Alonso had a better start to the season than Hamilton yet remained in the same pack as he started in....not a world champions actions IMO.... fair play to him but if this season is anything to go by, then a good car is the only way he will come out top, he merely blended in all season

Watch out for Rosberg if he goes to Brawn, i think he'll surprise a few people. Hamilton is gonna be a legend in time, if his car is ok...it'll be him. Dont think the Ferrari's will be title contenders but i'm sure from Jenson's fan fuc*ing tastic drive at interlagos that he wont go down without a fight....will be a good one

I fancy an Alonso 3rd championship! I think hes exactly what Ferrari needs post Schumacher era. He's consistent and fast! I think Hamilton may just have his toughest season yet if he is pitched against Raikonnen. Not because of Kimi's pace, but more his lack of developement skills! Watch this space :)

never been more excited for a start of an F1 season, think hamilton ill do well as his testing is going ok and he and the ferrari are quickest so far, i think massa will come back with a vengence this year and you have to praise him for his class consistant driving. hamilton all the way for me with massa second and alonso 3rd at the end of the year. button may not do the best this year as i dont think his head has been on the racing for a while but i dont expect him to bow down lightly.

watch out for vettel this year though, good driver with good attitude and if his car is good then expect a few challenges from him. dark horse for the year i think.
also i mite be going out on a limb here but i think kobayashi mite do well for sauber, im not sayin he gona win or get a pole but his drivin is brave and he likes having a go.

schumy is a legend but he has aged and been out the car far longer than any other driver, you all seen or heard wot happened to him when testing the ferrari after masa had the accident, his neck muscles couldnt hold out to the extreme stress of the G that those cars pull, im not disregarding him i just dont think he will be there this season with the regular boys, also his car not performing like they would like it to.......but hey......who knows wot gona happen!!!!!!! look at last year.

I still think schumacher will be near the front end and probably get to the front a few times this year. He may not have been in f1 for a few years but he has still been driving and tallent does not just go away. Button seems to be good at driving smooth and keeping his tyres good so thats bound to help when you are humping all that extra fuel round. With no refueling its going to help a lot if you can keep them good.

Schumacher couldn't cope with extreme G after Massa's fail because of an injury he had when racing on a motorbike.
I think that we will see battle between ferrari and mclaren again. In second row between merc, red bull and renault.
Anyway I can't wait till march :D

Yeap, I think Hamilton as well IF he doesn't make stupid mistakes.
But I would love to see Alonso or Vettel winning it.
This season will be so many changes that it is really hard to say before the first race.
Especially after last season!!

This season is going to be EPIC! :rockwoot:

I couldn't call it. It seems pretty close. I think that Merc have a bit of speed which they haven't shown yet. Ferrari look consistant over long runs. McLaren looks quick. Red Bull ditto. This won't be a predictable year. I know who I want to win though! :racer:

i got what i wanted and that was for that arrogant tit Vettel not to win....hate the kid, he seems worse than Schuey in his hay day.....

happy for Alonso to win, although they clearly they have the best cars, them and red bull....just waiting for Hamilton to get into shape to give them a good whooping - says it all really, even the world champ couldnt get beyond 6th yet Hammy managed 3rd, ok well 4th without the luck - all in all a good weekend, although would have liked to see the cars running more equally - its still a big thing having the right car methinks :)

Dull that was, I'm an avid fan and was really looking forward to the start of this season, but if they are all going to be like Sundays race, I will be Switching off and going and doing something less boring.

I have followed F1 since 1990 and have always loved it. The hype over this new season has been unbareable and i couldn't wait - What a load of ****** its getting to point where I'm embarresed to say I enjoy F1, fair play to the drivers tho, I'm not a fan of any single driver or team but I just wanna see racing!

Compare the first race yawnfest of the F1 season to the 1st race of the World Superbike Season.....

After 22 amazing laps this was the finish line
2 guys seperated by .004 of a second! - Even the timing computers took a few minutes to register who had actually won!
These guys are seriously:tocktock:

Simple answer let a few F1 fans loose round the pit lane with hacksaws and cart blanch to remove any winglet or wing from every F1 car that they fancy.

That would sort the men from the boys :respekt:

Lets just hope that the FIA reintroduce refueling to spice up the racing if Australia turns out to be as dull as Bahrain.

Vettel for the title

I just cant see any overtaking! When they are loaded with fuel the cars are soo slow... They have to brake earlier into corners etc. No good for decent overtaking!

I doubt it very much for this season, it's a season long rule, and raceteams would probably go over their budget cap to reintroduce refueling mid season.

Sorry to say mate, there was only him and Webber driving the nuts out of the F1 cars today, unless you was watching some other race. Redbulls are proper unreliable after 2 races, didn't see Alonso try and make a pass on Massa when he was clearly the quicker driver....

Guess i must have been. The race i Watched saw Shamliton make an **** of himself and blame his team. Get a ticket for driving a road car like a tool too.
"Hamilton was clearly unhappy after the race, which was won by McLaren team-mate Jenson Button.
o.gif

And it compounded a disappointing weekend for the Englishman, who had his car impounded by Melbourne police after practice on Friday for alleged improper use of a vehicle, while he only managed to finish 11th at the 150mph in qualifying"

Webber driving eratic as always (thank god he is gonna retire at the end of the year) and button owning that circuit, Not to mention Alonso came from last to finish 4th. Id say that was a awsome drive.
Im sure thats the race i wached at 6am this morning mate.:slap:
