engine mount

hi all

been having a banging noise coming from engine when taking foot off of the go faster pedal.
been on vag-com and getting 17994 engine mount solenoid valves has any one else had this problem.

engine mount yes get that bit but engine mount solenoid valves not so sure.can anyone shed any light on this for me.

oh and my temp sender has gone can anyone tell me its exact location

Do a search as there's plenty on here about them

Basically the mount is soft until around 1100rpm to soak up the vibes at idle. Then above 1100rpm a valve gets closed which hardens the mount.

Common problem. Not too hard or expensive a fix IIRC.
