Last month, Bang & Olufsen released a smart speaker that was designed to look like a book, now the company is turning its attention to the outdoors with a waterproof portable speaker.

The Beosound Explore looks more like one of those reusable coffee cups than a portable speaker. Bang & Olufsen designed it to be hung off the side of a bag using a carabiner, and durable enough to cope with most weather conditions while at the same time offering more than a day of audio playback on a single charge.

Capable of pumping sound out 360 degrees at a maximum sound of 91 decibels (59 decibels of bass capacity). This small but mighty speaker can offer 27 hours of playtime at "typical listening levels" and when you are done recharging takes just two hours.
