Hey. Long story short I bought a bonnet from a scrapper for my 2010 S-Line 5 door A3 and it doesn't fit, and even though we had a deal that we could return it they didn't want it back. So now I am trying to sell it.
The problem is, I am confused as to what year this bonnet is from, the only identification number on it, as it turns out, is not the bonnet number, but a ****** sticker number.
The scrapper told me its from a 2008 Audi, now, as I said, it doesn't fit my 5 door s-line 2010 A3, and I also know it didn't fit a 2009 Audi. So am I correct to assume this bonnet is from 2004-2008?
Does anyone know of the proper part number for it?
Do the s-line models have different bonnets from non s-line models?
Thank you for any help. I am attaching some pictures, the main differences between this and my current bonnet is the slightly different latch design and the fact that it has a metal border that run perpendicularly around the edge.
