And have you climbed back in the boot and done everything in reverse order to get the car back out the garage!?
It's because most people use their garage for other than their car that planners will no long take a garage in to account when determining if a new development or single house has enough parking spaces. They will take in to account car ports but not garages.
Post deleted. I know @jassyo06 can be, well Jassy (sorry buddy ) but totally unacceptable.
On the drive usually, or if it's just been cleaned and it looks like it's going to rain, the garage.
However, the OP with that narrow garage needs to get himself a parkino;
You bought a small expensive Audi, and plussed it up with half the options list. When did the price start to matter? ;-)I like (sarcastic) how they don't quote any prices on their website ;-)
Some of us like the idea of having to come downstairs in the middle of the night to batter seven shades of s**t out of whoever has just come into their house.I still find it a bit weird that most people leave a (highly nickable) car worth £XXk on the drive/street because their garage is full of worthless old junk.
Still at least they can sleep safe knowing that thieves aren't going to smash down their front door in the middle of the night to make off with a broken kids swing, 2 old plastic chairs and a 20 year old B&Q barbecue.

Game on.
When it happened to me I didn't fancy my chances against 4 armed blokes while half asleep in my boxer shorts at 3am.
I did fend them off.... just (I am an Elite Level boxing coach). But they got the cars....and it's certainly not anything I want me or family to go through again. Ever.
But each to their own.
To the OP....
As someone else said. Put some carpet on the wall where the door is going to open and also try the following.
As I need to get my car tight in the garage on the passenger side so I can get out more easily, I do the following.
I reverse in and have found some cheap plug in LED lights which switch on with motion. I have these on the passenger wall, so when you reverse in its easy to get very close - just using the mirrors. And a bit of wood drilled in the floor where the back wheel needs to stop.
Took all of 20 mins to do and can park easily in garage now.
So....remind me when my move in date is mate?I'm in the very fortunate portion where I've just designed and built my own house in the country.
This meant I could include an oversized detached garage big enough to take both cars plus work benches / storage units on 3 sides.
Once I clear out all the s**t from the house move plus decant the garden stuff into our shed which goes up on Friday the cars will be able to snuggle up for the fast approaching winter nights. In the past I've used one of those cast iron grills, that people used to have on their doors step, placed on the garage floor to rest the car wheel against to aid positioning in tighter garages.
That's exactly why I put additional accommodation above the garage too CarloS3.So....remind me when my move in date is mate?
Looks expensive !!I'll refrain from suggesting you should all move downunder, so you can get houses with decent garages, but maybe this is an alternative.

That's such a defeatist attitude, they may as well just leave the keys outside the front door on the mat then.Agreed mate.
Certainly over on the A5OC forum there's many who have the view that the more deterrents you put in their way the more likely you are to have these scumbags confront you and your loved ones in your home.
Fair enough but I think the guys who were talking in those terms had been confronted in their home by thugs so I think my view would be the same if that was the case. That's such a defeatist attitude, they may as well just leave the keys outside the front door on the mat then.
That is NOT a double garage !! It's much more that thatIn a locked and alarmed double garage with enough room for two cars, motorbike, four bikes, workbench and storage.
