My passenger door was hit by a lorry in my old fiesta. Got repaired by a local company and couldn't tell. Obviously depends on the extent of the damage, mine was around A4 sized on the crease of the dooryou can never really repair a door properly. you will see the repair. When they hear the cost they will want to go through insurance.
Are these OEM wheels, 8x19 ET49? Did you use any spacers?changed the wheels this weekend and added the plate after waiting nearly 6 weeks to get the v5. View attachment 175486
It were you! Lol I contacted @jp825 as soon as he offered this grille for sale and got a quote. Then I had doubts that the quattro letters were removable and I needed ONE day in order to ask folks about it. When I learned that I could remove the letters, the grille was sold Congrats on a good dealJust received the first 2019 mod thanks to @jp825 Now I just need to get my Method Effects splitter, Eibach Pro-Kit and JB4 and then I'm ready for the first 2019 VAG meet 1st of April
Other mods I'll be doing as well: Pipercross panel filter, new turbo inlet elbow, Zimmermann perforated front discs.

Would you fit it by yourself? I know that the grille must be trimmed a little before fitting to a S3 bumper. Would it be possible to take some pictures of all necessary modifications to the grille and the bumper?
One question about the image you just posted. What is it for an oval plate under the Audi rings? Wasn't the audi badge attached to the grille? How does the grille look without the rings? Is there a hole in the place where the rings should be? I'm asking because I saw an oem RS3 grille for sale at another place and there was just an empty hole where the rings must be. It looked weird.
They're the same design as OEM black edition S3 rims. What I have on my S3 saloon. Are these OEM wheels, 8x19 ET49? Did you use any spacers?

yes take from a saloon and no spacers. they fit just perfect in the arch, they don't stick out at all. View attachment 175541View attachment 175542
Had them on my car for 2 years. Done 20k miles. Still plenty meat left on the tyres. So seem to wear well. Although I don’t drive like I stole it and do loads of motorway drivingInstalled a BlackVue Dr750-2ch Dashcam over the weekend, and had 2 new Goodyear Eagle F1 Assymentric 3 tyres at the back from Audi dealer today

Nasty kerbing!!
Lol this is the cleanest wheel I have, you should see the state of my front one makes me want to cry. What annoys me more is my set of wheels were immaculate for about 6 months and just took a few lapses in concentration, coupled with poor protection from the Dunlop sport RT Max that were originally on there. Currently looking for a clean set of wheels ( not interested in refurbishing) but very hard to come by, though I only need 2 to have a perfect set again.
It's strange. Someone said here that the letters are removable and I didn't see any holes on the provided picture.Haha sorry mate!
The letters can be removed yes but it would leave some holes in the grill where the snap locks have been - so wouldn't look good if you ask me
Yes I will fit it together with the splitter when I get it. I'm just going to follow this very comprehensive guide: https://www.audi-sport.net/xf/threads/fitting-the-rs3-grill-guide.237350/ and I don't think I need to cut anything since this is not the OEM grill, but I will have my Dremel ready if it's the case
The plate is just for protection so you won't scratch the Audi logo during installation. The logo can be mounted afterwards by just pushing it in. There is a slot for is so it would look dumb if you don't fit the Audi logo. I can post some pictures later.

As to the grille modification, here's a quote from this post: "Yes, we trimmed along the bottom of the grille and both lower corners so it doesn't foul the bumper. We have also cut slots into the lower part of the grille so it can use the factory fixing lugs on the bumper and fit as good well and secure as a standard grille."
Thanks for the pictures in your next post. I see that there isn't any big hole in the place of logo where the small-mesh grille must be. Is the small-mesh removable? I saw a few listings at Allegro.pl where the grills didn't have the small-mesh and the rings. I have to check out if this part can be bought separately.
Humm... oddly the all wheel drive isn't working now, so it's back to the garage to see what's amiss. It was fine when I dropped it off, now I've got the ESP light flashing at me if I go near the throttle. Annoying.
So, diagnosis complete from Audi. Haldex pump has failed after 40k - being replaced under warranty.
Any idea of a cause?
Had two new front tyres put on a week ago, I went for Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 tyres to replace my AO Continental Sport Contact 5's. Definitely notice a difference, they are noticeably quieter, when it's time for the rears to be done I'm sure it will be quieter still. Can definitely give the Goodyear tyres a solid recommendation.
In more annoying news I've had to replace my front windscreen after a huge rock flew out the back of a truck filled with gravel, etc, which they didn't ****** bother covering over and completely cracked my front windscreen, it was covered by insurance luckily, but still £75 out of pocket...
Dash cam certainly wouldn't hurt if it helps to prove blame on the other driver/user.This happened to me in the motorway which is one of the main reasons I invested in a dash cam. Not sure if this can be used as evidence though in such circumstances??
The Rieger is deffo under rated imo, glad I opted for it over the Maxton..Recently I have:
- Replaced my broken Maxton splitter with the Rieger alternative (much happier with the look now).
- Had an alloy refurbished after a crazy lady decided to run me out of my lane into a curb (£60 all in which I thought was pretty good).
- Reinstalled my GFB DV+
- Installed a second hand R600 intake (really happy with the results this has given).
Next in line are a couple of cosmetic mods - possibly wrapping the wing mirrors gloss black, getting new decals for the front callipers, and possible vinyl detailing on the splitter and diffuser...???

And £60 for a refurb! where from?
Dropped my car off at Audi to get the door repaired. It's going to be replaced and the side panels next to it will have to be paint matched...
So in the meantime I'm driving this.

My dad has an A5 with either 19" or 20" alloys. I think they look really good on the car - the car in the photo just seems to have a really meaty set of tyres on it. I think I'd prefer to have an A5 over an A3.They look so 'under wheeled' it's not even funny... anything less than 20" alloys and it looks poverty spec imo. Same for the Merc CLS... it's all that big *** it's got, lots of body vs not a lot of wheel...
