join date April '07 - Post #3? ....... welcome

nice car

I've been thinking about those rally style mud flaps for a while, they look cool there

yeah i joined when i had my first S3 but never had problems with it or a digi camera to upload them to the laptop ats the time!
had fords from then but came back to Audi not that long ago and had nothing but problems with it hense why im now on here searching alot lol

Looks  i have the same wheels. Im running 30mm adapters on the rears but wish i had gone for 35's. What size tyres are you using?

Not keen on the mud flaps - OK on an Impreza/Evo/RS Focus, but not an S3 (just my view). Also not sure about the black around the rear plate. Not meaning to me negative, just my opinion.

Where are your carbon details? Wrapped, or actual carbon? Would be good to see.

Also - get that passenger door blade re-attached properly!!! There are some guides on here.

The mudflaps are defo down to preferance. its a thing i do to all my cars is fit the mudflaps as round here theres nothing but road works and tar is forever getting plastered up the doors.
Ive had the front LCR splitter wrapped in carbon along with the chrome round the front grill. the car is gettin a full paint job in 4 weeks i'll be refitting the blades then after they have been wrapped in carbon along with the bumper insert.
the black on the front a back reggie plates is just to hide badly scratched and missing paint that was behind the standard sized plates.
decided to use the carbon film to see what it looks like rather than have my car look like every other tom **** and harrys S3.. dare to be different and all that jazz! :)

Well done. Throw up a picture of the white dials when you get a chance , as well as the carbon on the front splitter.

Looks nice, not keen on the black plate surround or mudflaps myself though.

Does the HID kit on the full beam take a few seconds before they're bright enough to flash people though?

cant beat a bit of csrbon i wrapped my door blades and grille surround got some more tolday to do the rear bumper insert and front

thanks for the comments i know the cars prob not to everyones taste just wanted to try something a wee bit different with this one,
yeah the HIDs just blink for a flash now looks cool and crisp (if truth be told the actual hid is a better bulb than the original headlightbulb!)

I actually quite like it as it is, mudflaps and all.

Not keen on the number plate surround but thats about it. Nice to see a car slightly different fromt the rest, u do find with some forums that if your car isnt how they want it then they slate you for it. No need in my opinion, i think the mods you have done still keep the car looking smart!

Thanks for the comments folks. :)
im just trying a few things on it before it gets painted (better to get the scratches on it now than after lol)
the car is currently running around the 270bhp mark altho I've not had it on rollers to find out exactly.
Its got a few niggly problems that need fixed first before more tuning (intercooler, Samco's etc) but for once I'm gonna try some style rather than power like my last ones.

a couple of pics of the carbon wrapping.....

well today i got my new clutch pedal and my mate welded it so it was stronger to avoid the same happening again!
Used a guide that i found on here an right enough to strip out and fit took me just under an hour (fiddly bit was the spring!)

heres a few pics of the havoc and new pedal repair! :)

this is my favorite looking s3 on here! good effort looks mean as f*uck!

looks real good sitting on the bentleys, i never liked the ride of my mk4 golf on 19's tho but they still look amazing, how is the ride? i think i will stick with 17's on mine for now ( just go wider), and in my fav colour, if i wasn't so atached to my s3 i would sell her and buy a noggy,i was contemplating geting it resprayed at some point tho

I was liking for a yellow one before I bought this one. Just couldn't find one that wasnt abused.
Glad I went for the Nogaro tho now as the Bentleys suit it that bit better.
The handling at the moment is really bad as the tyres I got are falkens at the back and SUNNYS on the front! Even with 4WD is still have heehaw grip at the front lol
rides not too bad tho the coilovers aren't sent too firm but the 35 profile tyres makes sure u feel every bump on the road!
Thinking of selling her soon since I've replaced just about every possible part that breaks on them now!

Hi I really like what you've done to the headlights I wouldn't mind doing mine do you have a guide on how to do it splitter looks good to nice motor
