My Poorly S3 :( hesitating?

The other day i was on the motorway and the silicone hose that attaches to the turbo on the boost side came loose (had a bad boost leak). i tightened the clip and boost seems ok now, however when booting it between 3000-4000 RPM i get a judder seems like its coming from the rear wheels, however it makes my whole engine hesitate and you can hear the DV dumping etc. almost like flat spots.

Any ideas?

Not very conclusive then....... it does sound like coil packs,, have you tried the recent recall? what code engine have you got?

the engine code is AMK, i wasn't aware of a recall...

Sounds like Coil a coil pack is on its way out, my car was doing this all the time. But i have done the up grade to Tfsi coils and it runs really well now.

There is a thread on the up grade if you are interested do a search, and there is alot of info on Tufftys build thread.
