A6 c6 problem at night with interior lights

Hello,
I have an audi a6 with auto headlights… the rain sensor and auto light function work perfectly… just sometimes at night the xenon lights turn on normally, but the interior lights dont come on… the white backlight in the cluster i mean… does anyone know how to fix this?

Is the interior light dial turned all the way up? It's next to the headlight buttons

If it's flush and not sticking out, push it, rotate it right until it stops, then push it back in. This dial is dedicated to lowering and raising the dash brightness, which may be low by default.

My apologies. I'm being thick headed. That's for the B8 line... If your vehicle has it, it will have a plus and minus button to adjust the brightness.

Yes, that brightness is maxed… if i turn the light switch on manually the dash lights turn on… it doesn’t happen everytime its just a little annoying
