Tested headlight mods - but unable to decide on which one to keep?
Agree, just the maintaining the shine is the tricky partNot today but last week it was in 4 days for a full paint correction and ceramic coating. If you are thinking of doing it, do it! It is amazing. Car is really really really shiny and it really does repel dirt. Any dirt that does stick it comes off so easily!!
Jeez, keen. I never hear from my dealerStill think 2 months is a tad soon, will still go for the laughs and maybe sway a test drive in something worthwhile haha!

Similar to Gtechniq - Ultra provides 9 year guarantee and use C2V3 to top up the shine and hydrophobic properties. I have to say that I think it works wellReally? I thought it stays shiny. I had Gyeon DuraFlex put on and it's guaranteed 5 years they claim. We will see! I have a top-up bottle which is supposed to be for the hydrophobic layer as that only lasts 24 months.
Got my front brake pads and discs (Brembo) fitted, yesterday got the Eibach pro-kit springs fitted. Not a massive drop obviously, can slightly feel the suspension being firmer, but its fine
Now just need to decide if want to get 19" new alloys or stick with 18s.. no magride so not sure how much firmer would be..hmm

Only stays shiny if it is properly maintained, but clearly a coating makes maintenance easier, but just like the paintwork, the coating can get “clogged” with product which is why most recommended certain shampoos (such as CarPro Reset) that clear any QD’s, top ups etc.
My coating was supposed to last 3 years, but I have just redone the bonnet, and before the water wasn’t running off like it is now! A clear sign the coating was “gone”
Mind me asking what are you going to do with your current wheels?I think that is pretty much right, I would just have waited if I couldn't get it that cheap.
Sounds very good mate! I'd say there's more crackles than my FL W/ BCS Res delete had. Either way, sounds very nice
Quick rev video since I got my Unicorn remap with some crackles sounds more like a facelift now haha
Just for bragging rights: When I had the S3 in for the day they gave me a brand new R8 as an apology for the inconvenienceVery nice, have to say when the dealer can give you that something different it's always nice! My dad's had a few different things now, myself I'm still limited to a 1.0 A1 until I turn 21 haha!
I'm not jealous. I'm not jealous. I'm not jealous. Ok I am Very nice indeed mate! I'm still battling Audi over my paint defect, will be pushing for a decent courtesy car for the week they need my car for...still waiting for Audi approval. Been a right pain.Just for bragging rights: When I had the S3 in for the day they gave me a brand new R8 as an apology for the inconvenience

Yeah they are dragging that out! Think I mentioned in another post that I nipped into Audi a few weeks back to show them a paint defect, I said I'd make do with a touch up stick and do it myself...I got it there and then!I'm not jealous. That is shocking that they were just going to swap the wheel with someone else's car, can't quite believe they'd even contemplate that. Solve an issue by passing the buck essentially."What, so you are going to change it for another customers alloy and hope they either don't notice it or make do with a repair?"
5 days they are taking the P, it could be done in a day max! What parts? some...primer and white paint?!?! lol.I've been back to my local audi 3 times now in regards to my issue, last time they had someone from audi to take measurements of the paint across the car to make sure it hasn't been resprayed after an accident and that cause the defect (to which my response was "I hope not as bought it from here and wasn't told this!!!"). Said I'd have to wait a few days to get approval from audi and they'd then need to order parts and have my car for at least 5 days to sort the issue.
My thoughts exactly. The approval process apparently takes longer as it is to do with paint. Not a bad shout on the body shop got a few goods one around here so might pay them a visit. I don't mind the time too much if it is done properly, they said it'd be going to their bodyshop. Got a week off work so will try and get a nice courtesy car to enjoy to make it worthwhile, thanks for the email, will give him a bell if this drags out any further. 6 weeks so far for a small blemish.5 days they are taking the P, it could be done in a day max! As if having to go to work on my day off for 4 hours of risk assessment & method statement training wasnt bad enough..... this happens

Did you not feel anything going over that. That would have taken some effort to punch through the tyre. Luckily it didn't blow out mate.As if having to go to work on my day off for 4 hours of risk assessment & method statement training wasnt bad enough..... this happens

Stage 1, so in any drive select mode if i put the gearbox into sports it will do pops and bangs when moving, though i need to be in dynamic drive select when static.Stage 1 or stage 2? Mine is mapped with unicorn but the ECU wouldn't allow pops and bangs while static
Looks nice. Doesnt the maxton spoiler have their branding in the middle as couldnt see it on yours?Got my maxton front splitter fitted today! Looks so good.
You mind sharing the price?Got my new insurance premium from Dan at Adrian flux. Only £67 more with all my mods declared against my standard policy with no mods. Well worth giving them a call when your policy is up for renewal.
