What elbow is that your using?
It's the one from BMS. No writings or logo on it, very stealth for when you have to visit the shop.

There's a button on the right side of the steering wheel. Push it ones to turn the heating on, push again to turn it off. Every time you do it, it shows the status on the DIS.i never knew there was a heated steering wheel option albeit part of a package. How is it activated?
I think Khufu meant he didn't realise there was a heated steering wheel option. Don't think I've seen an A3/S3 with it.There's a button on the right side of the steering wheel. Push it ones to turn the heating on, push again to turn it off. Every time you do it, it shows the status on the DIS.
His last question was how it was activated. As to availability of this option, it is available as an extra option in Denmark. Don't you have it in the UK?I think Khufu meant he didn't realise there was a heated steering wheel option. Don't think I've seen an A3/S3 with it.

Like looking at your car...VG is a cool colour.Got rid of the annoying tar spots that pepper the car. Used auto finesse obliTARate. Doesnt come as a spray but easily overcome. Works a treat within 30 seconds tar was running down the car. Recommended for ease of use.View attachment 181666 View attachment 181672
Got an insurance renewal £731 vs £624 last year.... Across the 4 cars (4 people) on the admiral multicar policy it went up by £152, 107 was me.... Hopefully can bring it down a bit! It's still miles cheaper than I could get without the multicar though...
They don't return to their original position automatically, you have to switch it back to window heating.By not working 100% what do you mean ?? Not return to where the mirror was or sometimes doesn’t seem to work at all ??
Decided to try something new and just ordered a set of Veemann VC03 (8.5x19" ET45) in gloss black wrapped in 235/35 Michelin PS4S
Got inspired by @Evil Derboy in this thread: https://www.audi-sport.net/xf/threads/fitted-new-wheels-today.380106/
I will get my small air grills in the front bumper painted gloss black and fitting a gloss black splitter as well as getting the window trims wrapped in black vinyl. Hopefully It's going to look - it sure does on the RS5
Very nice, have to say when the dealer can give you that something different it's always nice! My dad's had a few different things now, myself I'm still limited to a 1.0 A1 until I turn 21 haha!Gave the S3 to Audi for them to do whatever checks they wanted to following my coolant leak fix. Got an Q5 in return for the day.
I think this one was probably a base spec, was the TDI 40 (190?) engine. It was by far the largest car I've ever driven (only owned Polos/A3/S3). Its not something I would ever want to drive or have the need for currently, but damn was it smooth. Gear changes were so smooth I couldn't feel them and going over some brutal speedbumps that I have to go over at 5mph in my car, I could drive over at 20+ with ease.
Always happy to get back into my own car, but its always nice to have a play around in something else for a few minutes considering my lack of driving different types of cars!

Like these. A lot. Gonna have to start calling you @Evil Lehn mate - those are gonna look badass on your van pal. Looking forward to seeing the pics of them on your car. You get through new rims more frequently than I buy new trainers mate, lol.
@Evil Derboy - that RS5 of yours has some serious 'presence' and like that you've added the OEM+ look by adding the Audi centre caps.
Both of you flying the flag for Team Daytona
I wish I new this kind of "someone". From what I heard so far, our DK prices on powder coating were tripple as that.I just got a call from my friend who told me Veemann doesn't have the wheels in stock in gloss black (8-10 weeks delivery time), so, I have decided to order the wheels in silver and get them painted. I've chosen to paint them satin black instead of gloss black since gloss black is a bit too much IMO and a pain in the butt to keep clean - so all in all I'm pretty glad I didn't get the gloss black after all although it will cost me a bit to get the wheels painted. But as @oli356 knows I always knows someone who knows someone so I'll get all 4 wheels painted for £120
AND I got some rubber today
