No, you have to flash it with VCP.Can i do that with vcds hex-v2?

All three options not possibleI downloaded the OBDEleven app and it suggests that video in motion isn't possible on newer software is this true?
I would like the following options,
Video in motion
Longer hands free
Longer traffic jam assist before it asks to reset again
My car is a December 2017 model A4
Yes is possibleHi,
Does anyone know if its possible in VCDS to always have the rear LEDs on along with the front DRLs as standard?
Thanks. Will the VCDS coding below work for the B9 (got it from B8 forum):Yes is possible

Only Hex-net versions of VCDS cables can fully access the latest models (like the B9. F5 etc)
...you mean "Hex" I think as both the Hex Net (Wifi) and Hex V2 (cabled) interfaces will work with no issues. Only reason to purchase a Hex Net interface at the moment is for Wifi capability / VCDS Mobile, or because you need to fully talk with Lamborghini's.Only Hex-net versions of VCDS cables can fully access the latest models (like the B9. Nope...Eh no...
The previous version was Hex-CAN. The new versions are called Hex-NET. Both the wifi or cabled are hex-net

Nope...
Hex net and hex v2 are the new interfaces, both work with all cars bar lambo’s, which need a hex net for full compatibility. I use both daily and both work fine on B9’s and alike.
Now you just correcting yourself as you posted originally that hex net was the only B9 / MLBevo compatible interface. The hex V2 is also, which is not a “NET”.Really...thats exactly the same what im saying. The new interface protocol / connection is called Hex-NET, where the previous was Hex-CAN. With the new versions you also have experimental coding. Its not just the name but the whole interface / software behind it.
Read your own post! Again a weird response....
I'm using tools like vcds for longer then 10 years now...also on a daily basis.

I said versions....plural. I think that we both mean the same, but we have different meanings for "hex-net" . For me both cables are the same. You see the name as the difference. Now you just correcting yourself as you posted originally that hex net was the only B9 / MLBevo compatible interface. The hex V2 is also, which is not a “NET”.
Ross-tech sells the following:I said versions....plural. I think that we both mean the same, but we have different meanings for "hex-net" . For me both cables are the same. You see the name as the difference.
Lets leave it like this.

The only difference is that "net" has more connection capabilities. The software part is the same.Ross-tech sells the following:
-Hex-net
-Hex v2
These are their names, and although mostly the same the “net” has more capabilities. Please stop giving incorrect advice.
Am sorry but you said only hex net supports the B9, face it you are wrong! The back end maybe the same but the interface is not. People taking your your advice might have purchased a £600 hex net Interface as a result when in fact all they need is a v2 £400 one (pricing not exact). The only difference is that "net" has more connection capabilities. The software part is the same.
Again you stick with the "names" and i use the software part. So not incorrect advise and please stop like you know everything..........

You may have 10year plus experience but you really need to think before you offer advise on a public forum.

Actually no, Ross Tech invented the naming conventions as it’s thier product and they are based in the USA I believe... so regions have nothing to do with it. The tools maybe “the same but different” but the difference is actually pretty substantial, especially on the price.Ok DJALIX, you are right. Ok?
Maybe the difference is that we use on the mainland the same names for the software/interfaces and in the UK not.
Really....you are saying that to me? Like you wanted to correct me yesterday with VCP + MLBEVO + Disable startstop? Then you should also think and know the basis before correcting someone.

Ok lets not waste any time on this. We both have our disagreements, lets leave it like that.

Where are you in relation to Bonnybridge? (Spelling)@DJAlix
I believe you are located in London, do you have any plans to visit N England/Scotland on a VCDS coding tour? I say this as I've almost given up doing the coding myself on VCDS on an el-cheapo ebay kit and I suspect most/all of the issues are down to the cheap cable. What did I expect for £70? lol On the other hand spending £400+ just on a cable is way overkill for me as I only need a few mods done and probably won't touch it again ever wrt VCDS.
In 46Re: enabling audio chirping when locking/unlocking car, can this be done through central electric module 09 (which I can access) instead of module 46, which i cannot access? If it can be done via module 09, what are the settings needed?
Cheers
I'm based in Inverness, however happy to travel to anywhere in Scotland (including Bonnybridge) and parts of N England it it means getting my car coded by someone who knows what they're doing, instead of just your average VAG technician. Will you be visiting Bonnybridge personally or can you recommend someone there?Where are you in relation to Bonnybridge? (Spelling)
I provide support services to a rather big performance company there. I can see if I can arrange for them to host a remote session between myself and your car if you like....I'm based in Inverness, however happy to travel to anywhere in Scotland (including Bonnybridge) and parts of N England it it means getting my car coded by someone who knows what they're doing, instead of just your average VAG garage.
