Hello! Spring almost here in Sweden so I need some new tires for my 2010 Audi A3 Sportback S-Line.

Problem is I have no clue what size and dimensions to get to avoid rubbing.

I will want to lower the car later on with Eibach or H&R Springs but not sure how low.. S-line chassi already down 10-15mm right? whats the perfect mm to make it look not too slammed but more sporty? at the moment it looks like a ****** off road buggy.

235/35r19 is what I've been looking at with 19x8,5 rims ET35.

I want to avoid spacers as well.

tire size in mind 235/40/18
PS not going with 19's due to very poor road conditions here.

i run 8x19 et45 with 225/35 tyres so i think you should be fine, but i dont have springs or somethimg. check my profile for pics...

I was thinking about going to 235, but on a 8" wheel the 225 is a bit more stretched what i like from an optical point of view. maybe you can go with a 235 continental tyre since they are more narrow than other manufacturers... otherwise you might have a problem with rubbing...

Hi mate, yes I had rubbing at the rears on 235 so now on 225 all round and no spacers....yet.

I'm thinking of getting 5 or 8mm spacers at the front, still mulling it over

Hi I've looked through the whole thread but can't seem to find any pictures of an 8p with the s8 alloys that look alot like the s3 alloys. I'm looking to get a set in 19 inch if these are available in genuine form. Not really keen on reps as the roads are terrible around my way.

Mine on Ispiri CSR1D 18x8,5 front and 19x9,5 rear ET42. Tires are 215/35/18 in front and 225/35/18 rear. KW V1 coilovers (little disappointed in the height but looking for a set of ultra low springs).
