How easy is it to modify the front bumper in order to fit a front mount.

Just about to purchase one and debating whether to try and fit it myself but I am NO KIND of mechanic!

Any how to guides or any tips from anyone would be greatly appreciated!

never done one on a A3/S3 but i did on my scooby. take your time is the only tip i can give. its really quite easy.

My ebay one turned up today. Looks like an alright bit of kit for £200!

Yes thats the one. Just needs some brackets, I cant find any in the box! All looks pretty high quality.

Should be pretty straight forward to fit. Think the bumper needs cutting regardless of what kit you get from what i read on here.

If you would of bought a Forge kit then you wouldnt of had to cut anything but a fair bit more than what youve paid here bud...

Just make sure u do the pipes up tight..!!! Ask Welly..!!!

why not just buy the AH fab one for £250.....we can pretty much guarantee it will spank the quality of the ebay ones hands down and comes with custom brackets too!! and it fits without hassle as per tuftys thread....

Are we talking about an A3 or an S3 here? different fitment....

I'm talking about an A3. Thought I read an AH one could cost more like £350?

The FMIC itself is about £250 then another £100 ish for hoses, clips and alloy bends...

The FMIC should fit an A3 although this as yet is unproven but the pipe work would be different...
