Dash stain on my S3 - NEED HELP!!

Hey.

I've got a sticky stain on the dash of my s3, just to the left of the speedo/rev counter housing. Its from a satnav/ phone holder thing and i can't for the life of me get the stain off. I've tried sticky stuff remover, couple of other cleaning products as well as latterly white spirits (which was a bad idea as its reacted with the stain and turned it white!) The white spirit did remove some of the sticky residue but because of the texture of the dash its really hard to get the remaining bits out.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as i can't think what else to try! Anyone know of any good cleaning companies that might be able to help?

Auto Glym intensive tar remove and a bristle brush would be my first try.

Put on, leave to penetrate, then agitate it with the brush, leave to penetrate again, then wipe. And probably repeat.

I would test the product on a small part of the dash for colour fastness though - although white spirt didn't dent it, I expect it will be OK.

Plus, if it doesn't work, you can use the rest to remove exterior surface tar. :icon_thumright:
