hi guys and girls

sometimes when i dip my clutch at a giveways or t-junction anywhere really the revs fluctuate between 500 rpm and 900rpm its like as if the engine wants to cut off and then it levels off and no problem

this doesnt happen at every junction and i understand its not the end of the world but hey im a perfectionist unfortunately and want the car 100%

i have recently remapped the 1.8t replaced temp sensor and thermostat and replaced the ignition amplifier

what the hell could this be now !! aaaaargh :banghead::blownose:

if it is the maf .are these the early symptons or signs of it going worse in the near future .is this how it starts

pleeeeeease help !!

Maf can do all kind of things, poor idle, poor fuel comsumption, poor boost etc How is it running generally? It could just be a case of your throttle body needs a clean

mmmmm gonna try and clean the throttle body first ,will carb cleaner suffice ??

its a doddle tenner all in off egay , 5 mins to replace theres a how to in google and maybe on here,

p.s is your car an s3 my 1.8t is that colour whats the name of this colour ?
