A3 2008 steering boost - Quick question

I have done some research into the steering boost on A3's. The level of power assistance can be changed on pre 2007 cars with VagCom.

My car is a 2008 and the steering is far too light.

Can a dealer change the settings for power assistance?

I believe it can be done by a dealer. But not with vcds as yet.

On a vag site, it says:

Modify Steering Boost Setting: Note: This does not work on 2007 models. These instructions will be updated once somebody figures it out.

It says "not 2007" model so I'll take it yours wont work. But Id give it a try but make sure you keep your original settings if you do change anything...

feel free to try it, but it won't work on 07 and onwards cars. I like your optimism though!

It def doesnt work on mine with VCDS, the option is greyed out, I will phone the dealers, thanks guys.
