As the title says, im currently looking at purchasing an Audi 2011 2.0 TDI DSG 5 DR. Apologies if its already been posted a thousand times but im posting in case there is some new information regarding what to look out for and what not?

Also is this year and model of car fitted with a DPF? Also heard some things regarding siemens and bosch injectors and was wondering if anyone could shed some light on this.

Thanks.

A 2011 will be Euro 5 so yes it will have a DPF and probably a 6 speed DSG transmission. The DSG needs regular oil & filter changes.
Hopefully by 2011 most of the injector issues had been resolved. Ideally scan with VCDS to check for fault codes.
Cambelt change every 5 years or 60,000 miles.

Thanks a bunch guys ! I might just go for it once the lockdown is over. Hopefully 50-70 miles daily in the car is enough to clear the DPF and it wont give me any problems.

If you intend driving in London, you can’t without a fine for Euro 5 or old engines. Cities such As Oxford, Cambridge and Bristol have plans to do the same in the future. Check the engine code is not BXE, if so avoid due to failing con rods. DPF’s don’t last forever so factor in a new one for a 2011 car in the future.
