Bit of a dumb question but how often do people top up their screenwash?

Mine seems to run out pretty quickly. Are the tanks known to leak? When I bought the car it was serviced on the day and screenwash fully topped up and it seemed to last ages. But when it did eventually run out I topped up and it empties far quicker.

Rubbish weather means you clean the screen more. Check for leaks on the floor, soon be apparent

Personally, I top mine up weekly when I check the oil and coolant levels.
It's a good habit to get into and makes sure I don't run low on any important fluids.

The pump only has a simple washer seal which can weep a little with age.Wait to the warmer drier weather and check it Sometimes a wiggle can settle it down but fluid is cheap and its not worth a lot of effort unless its a bad leak

Thanks ^

Yeah I really hope it’s not a bad leak or anything. The tank is buried right down would be a PITA to get to.

I maybe fill mine once in summer, and easily 3-4 times in winter.

Euro carparts have loads on offer ,even better with free delivery & the discount code.
