I changed the DV, and still get the p0299. I checked the wastegate rod and it doesn’t jerk or move at all so I’m assuming it can’t be the wastegate? The turbo works fine, the car jumps when I floor the pedal. I cleaned the MAF sensor, changed the purge valve, smoke tested the PCV valve and no leaks, however there is a leak from the head gasket. Any suggestions what it could be?

Does it stutter slightly at about 16 -1800 rpm ?
Mine did, I'm pretty sure that was the code I was getting.
It was the actuator on the inlet manifold that controls flaps inside. Easy fix

Nope. The turbo seems to work. It jumps when I floor the gas pedal. I tried jerking the wastegate arm and there was no play so I’m assuming the turbo is fine. What else could it be?
