Exhaust options

I have a 2014 1.4 TFSI S-Line with a K&N air filter. I’m debating what exhaust mod to go for as I’m not sure what will be best for performance. I’m wanting to go for a resonator and middle silencer delete with an OEM back box or a upgraded back box with OEM resonator and middle silencer as I’m not really in the market for a quality full catback system. Which option would be best for performance and which would produce a better sound. Thanks in advance for all your knowledge.

For performance, you will need to change the entire exhaust from the turbo to the tip - with that, you will probably more than likely need a remap of some sort to let the car know of any changes that have been made

You will see very little performance benefit from just a cat back system.

For example ( I don't know the power output of your standard car)
