hi, new to this forum and wondered if anyone has any advise on my clutch issues. I have an A4 advent B8. I have the dreaded clutch judder, not bothered, but more worried out the changing / floating bite point of the clutch.
no slipping of the clutch but pumping does help if biting point changes. Any ideas? Thanks Keith

Could be the issue that I've just spent months trying to fix, turned out to be the main shaft bearing in the gearbox was moving backwards and forwards which was causing the bite point to move

I'd start with either bleeding or the slave cylinder. The slave is a known weak point on the 6MT

Is it a combined slave and release bearing on these?

External slave,so not as complicated
