Seems to be a daily feature of S3 ownership, the more reading, the worse it seems. How's the RSN-E going?
At least you'll know the exact GPS position of your S3.
Mine is still "okay" / (fun) to drive but considering no oil went in the catch can for a year and now 50cl in 2 months, after I ran it too low on oil. now it has too much positive crankcase pressure. same as you had, with dip stick puffing.
You bought the wrong colour
You guys certainly know how to make me feel better, well just a bit.I'm dreading doing the VVT gaskets next as I'm liable to break something there, everything I touch seems to turn into skittles ,also after fumbling about under the inlet manifold for a couple of hours my wrists look like I've been interrogated by the Trump establishment!
I did wonder about fashioning a jubilee clip around the housing but I might squash it further.
