What Detailing / Car Care Products Have You Bought / Ordered Today?

Finally got around to ordering a kit for the stone chips. Bank holiday weekend sale site wide using code "MAY20". With postage should have been £75.95 , after discount was £61.95. This stuff looks really good, if i get the desired results i may finally be able to consider Ceramic Coating the A3.

If anyone is interested visit www.drcolourchip.co.uk

That looks awesome - just watched the video.
I'd be interested to see how you get on with it with before and after photos if poss

Cheers
Mike

Certainly will do Mike. Not quite sure when it will be just yet, ever growing list of jobs to do on the A3. Hubs and brake calipers up next. Going silver for the hubs and red for the calipers. The new alloys dont hide either components anymore lol.

Brake caliper paint just delivered
Decided on red as it ties in with the red part in the s-line badges.

Just my luck! Ordered a 5 litre bottle of Cleanliness and what they send? A 5 litre bottle of Kristal Kleen Detail citrus magic cleaner and pre-wash!!! I've looked it up and it seems it's slightly more expensive than the AW so I'm asking you guys if it worth keeping it or just return the damn thing. Obviously now I have to pay the shipping fees which is a pain too... I wish people do their job right...

Thx,

Dan

Ordered a full Obsessed Garage style setup with quick releases all around for kranzle

Better be good!

Also think it's the distant selling act or sale of goods act, but under this you shouldn't have to pay for return postage if a product is faulty or wrong (wrong product would fit this bill).

Ordered some Adams blue shampoo and my first EZ detail brush (currently use wheel Woolies and fancied trying it)

Reactions: Bristle Hound
I'm currently curating a list for my next order. Hoping to give the car a good clean on my day off on Monday or Tuesday, currently have the following:

Carbon Collective Speciale Detailer
AngelWax absolution
Interior Brush as recommended by @Scotty75
Looking for a wheel brush, my current one does a poor job of cleaning the rubber. Can't find the Tuf tire brush recommended by @q5man, all out of stock.
Carbon Collective platinum wheels or Gtechniq C5 for the new alloys coming.

Re: Tyre brush, go for this then, from in2detailing:
https://www.in2detailing.co.uk/products/wheels/wheel-brushes/in2detailing-tyre-brush.html

Looks identical to my Tuff Shine brush, and should be good quality (good price too). in2detailing also stock Angelwax stuff, and have good alternatives to the Carbon Collective gear you're considering, so you should be able to order most, if not all of your haul from one place. Use the forum discount code ASNET for 10% off mate

Kudos - CC Speciale not on my radar, so looking forward to your review Adam, let us know how you get on. Looks to be an Si02 product, so potentially similar to Gyeon Cure, CarPro Reload etc? But not sure if CC Speciale is a sealant or just a detail spray? If the latter, then I’m currently using Bouncers D&D Si Edition as a detailing spray myself - good shizzle, I rate it. Like I say, let us know how you get on with the CC gear

Think based in videos I've seen it's a bit of a hybrid in the fact it's a detailing spray but similar to those products you mentioned

Will be sure to get some before and after shots. 4 weeks of constant driving she she's filthy so in need of a good clean that's for sure

Thoughts on the leather cleaner?

The Sonax leather care was really good. Not too shiny on the leather and restored it back to it's former glory. Very good value compared with more expensive leather cleaners I have used in the past.

Here is a finished picture of it applied to the leather.

Worth a go for £6.

New tyre brush, Angelwax absolution and carpet brush arrived from in2detailing. First order from there, quick delivery but not a big fan of the fact they use clearly rubbish/plastic as a protection?

Only been threatening to do this for about a year now. Nice upgrade to the arsenal and hoping a noticeable improvement on my existing basic PW and Snow Foam lance (which do the job but I feel like I’m ‘making do’)

Good deal from The Karcher outlet - paid the extra to extend the warranty, but a massive saving over ‘new’ price. ‘Refurbished’ effectively means it has been returned after original purchase (for whatever reason) and checked over extensively before being put back on sale at a big discount. May come with some light cosmetic damage but many reviews stating purchases look like a brand new item. Good reviews on customer service too, so worth a go. If it ain’t right, it’ll be sent back - but hoping I’ve got a good deal.

Snow Foam lance (and a ‘free’ - yeah, right!) bottle of Magi-Foam to play with (which I don’t imagine will be one of the best, but a new one to try)

Still want some hose eez detail guards and an extension hose, but those will have to wait until after my holibobs (16 days to go, not that I’m counting!)

Big fan of refurbished goods. My K4 came from there and touch wood been absolutely fine since.

Was a big upgrade over my old PW (was my parents old pressure washer from 10+ years ago). Sure you'll find the same

Maybe one of the ones l rejected mate 3 in total lol on my 4th in 11 months
They done a upgrade last year as there was a fault with the water fitting that attaches to the black hose... Originally this fitting was made of plastic then they changed it to cast aluminium

Nice one, and great price, with peace of mind with extra warranty. Autobrite magifoam is pretty good to
Be fair and lasts ages!

Hose eez are brilliant

Good to know - thanks for the heads up. Are you taking about this?....
With any luck I’ll get one with the upgraded aluminium fitting - I’ll check when it arrives

Lol - good review. Confirms what I’ve thought about snow foams - it’s not about how thick, foamy, clingy and show-boaty they are. Check list for me is does it clean well (Gyeon and AG Polar were pretty poor in the cleaning test TBH - that was a real eye-opener), is it good value for money, don’t want it hanging around on the drive for hours afterwards, is it PH neutral, biodegradable and not going to strip my LSP, and does it have a corrosion inhibition quality. Bilt Hamber Auto Foam =
