smallest wheels

Hi Guys
Don't suppose any of you would know the smallest wheel diameter I can fit on my wifes 8p Quattro tfsi ? its a 56 plate with 18" wheels just now and I am looking to invest in smaller steel / alloy wheels with winter tyres.

16" as above, but you will have to be mindful of the offset "ET" as they may catch on calipers.

I know i had some 16" Audi a4 alloys as winters on my 2.0tdi and that had 312 front brakes and spokes were close to the caliper.

cheers guys I saw some 15" but I recon they have no chance of clearing the front calipers
