After spreading the S3 gold xxl on speed 1 , turned up to 5 out of 6 . 600 watt Halfords DA.

Really considering the Das 6 pro 21mm throw next

Not a fan of the larger throw da"s ie 21 mm too much of a handful and less control/accuracy mate

Washing the fooking thing 2 hours, polished the roof, all of the boot lid, rear bumper, and around the reg plate and the 2 rear doors....,used Scholl S40 with a white Quatum pad, slight correction around the reg plate/4 circles area with the Flex mini polisher with a orange pad/Sonax perfect finish.... Then fired on some Fusion....its now ******* down and the Fusion............beads as fast as Syncro Skin but with nowhere near its endurance....nowhere near....but its not the easiest wax to apply but the results.....speak for itself mate
Ps the driveway....is similar to the intro of I am Legend ie the Red Mustang/Deer Scene but **** it, l aint doing it again....him next door can do it this time

Not got the new cordless yet mate no ones interested in my xfe 7-15 - 150 lol
But used the xfe 7-12-80 small da for the first time in anger... It's a tad heavy and a little awkward to use to be honest especially on vertical panels like say a door. . I hate the power switch, it's on the side of the machine and its a push up click in type and not a trigger type, but all these smaller machines have this type of switch not worth £320 definitely not, but what is awesome are the pads that are supplied with it. ... Quality indeed

Very, very nice @Andy ge - bet that V8 sounds amazing.

How freaking big are those front calipers?! Looks like they’re a full circle which goes all the way around! And that nylon webbing strap keeping the bonnet in place? Guess that’s there in case of high wind?

Not sure about the turbine alloys next to you (great reflection shot though) - keep it OEM+

Kudos - love a modern classic in Daytona

Eh? Thought you placed the order for the cordless the other week? Or ‘av I got the wrong end of stick and ‘twas the mini DA you’ve just got your hands on? Apologies for lazy thread reading - what happened pal?

Looked like you had some kind of blue strap to stop the bonnet blowing back lol - is it just an event pass lanyard?

Spent a good few hours starting with interior followed by the usual and topped off with @THQuattro ‘s QD (used his shampoo too this time).

Gave alloys a few coats of planet polish too. Not the best weather for showing off the shine/reflections.

@jassyo06 will be pleased to see some shots not on my drive

So last week I scrubbed the tyres with a stiff brush as part of ther overall car detailing process. Applied two coats of Fireball Tyre Wax , the car wasnt driven till ther following day. Now on day eight...... Well all I can say is I'm really disappointed.

Surely it should last longer than a week ?

Oh really? I have been trying (not that hard) to get some fireball but been sold out, as comes so highly recommended. I am still on the megs, but saying that tyre brand does seem to make a big difference. Megs looks great on JCW p zeros, but only ok on Q5 contis.

Reactions: Jimbob76, Scotty75 and Jassyo06

Fireball tyre wax is pretty good honestly l wouldn't have recommended it otherwise, but it does need 2 good coats of the stuff to shine so to speak and it was the Blue bottle you bought eh and not the orange?

Get some Carpro Perl mate easy peasy to apply on big tyres but needs two coats for a shiny finish plus it's waterbased so dry/cures on the tyres
I can also recommend Koch chemie tyre dressing very similar to Megs but it cures leaving lovely finish,, l can't stand Megs tyre dressing for all the reasons others do

That's right mate, I got the blue bottle. Gave it two coats using a foam pad . Looked great at first, maybe @q5man is right about tyre compound.......

My Pzeros don't take well to most tyre dressings either mate, ie silicon based ones . .. Carpro Perl is on my shortlist its water based

Pics don't do justice, this R222 wax takes the 'wet' look, depth and shine on the car to a whole new level.
@jassyo06. I didn't have the time to do the correction so, in the end just washed, sealed and waxed the car.
