2.0 tfsi CAI whistle????

Hi guys fitted my CAI a day ago and it's seems all fine but it seems to make abit off a whistle noise when the turbo is spooling up is that normal or is there abit off a leak in the pipe work?

thats the awesome turbo sound!

or possibly a leak, probs just the turbo now, the old box had like a silencing effect.

check bank 032 via VCDS to see if there are any leaks

Thats exactly what I was gonna say Red. It could just be the noise of the intake as certain makes of intakes make weird noises like whistling/darth vader noises.

I can confirm mine makes a good whistle as well. Along with the "darth vader" noise as described above. If you have not had a CAI before it can be a bit alarming.
