Hi all, the brake pads warning light has come on on my 2004 2.0TDi A3, just wondering what kind of price im looking at for these replacing? Is there a certain type i should be getting/avoiding etc?
When I had my service done, they informed me that the pads were low and they needed to get changed sooner rather than later but there's nothing on the dash to suggest they need changing.
In most cases, no need to remove a wheel, torch at night will easily show you the amount of tread still on & yes most have sensors, but this is also a coding option aswell.
You have a DIS warning saying "brake pads" thought was just a symbol personally, oh well everydays a school day.
Rears last longer for obvious reasons, but as stated, check rears aswell.
Just ring audi & give the your vin no. & they will give you a price, simples.
