S4 Owners - Your Best & Worst Average MPG Figures (According To Your DIS)

Just managed an average of 29.1 over 1,948 miles driving through Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, France, Luxembourg and Belgium.
At one stage, spent nearly 3 hrs at around 85mph and was showing 31.5mpg

Purely down to being able hold consistent pace with no stop starting.

I also took the opportunity to nudge 150mph in Germany

I'm just hitting 300 miles in mine and I've got 50 mile left on the trip computer

My worst :(
15.9mpg today, but I did do a couple or 3 launches using LC :D

My best after nearly 1000 miles journey with the last tank showing remaining miles, which on a stage 2 is awesome and feels like 700 miles to the tank

On a 147 mile drive at an average speed of 50mph, according to the DIS, I've managed to equal the claimed extra-urban fuel consumption figure of 44.1mpg:
441mpg


It wasn't all downhill with a tailwind!

I think this is a new PB for team Driving Miss Daisy. 350.5 miles from the tank ...

Good work. Looks like there's a good 50 miles left in the tank too, judging by the angle of the fuel gauge pointer. Was this on higher RON petrol?

WTefff. I thought I was driving like Miss. Daisy these days. Below is from Tuesday last week after 115 miles trip.

And then trip to Southampton on the most picturesque, serene and quite A34 the following day. I did fill it up though...

This DIS also reported 440 miles to empty when I filled up. PMSL, not a chance. :)

That's the least of the car's problems. It's seriously filthy and needs the bonnet machine polishing to remove some bird poo etching. :(
