Right more problems ! , I havnt used the car all day . Was off round to my girlfriends the fuel was low as I didn't get a chance to fill up yesterday . So I popped to my local to put a fiver in to tide me over for v power on the way to work . Started it up still at 0 fuel on the guage . Right so I drove to see if it would increase but no , popped into another station and put another fiver in still nothing !! . What would be causing my fuel guage not to work ????

Could be nothing, £5 a time buys little to no fuel so I would suggest putting £20 in to see if that makes anything happen on the gauge
Ok mate I will in the morn , could it be I have confused it ? , I'm just a lil confused as a tenner normally puts 50 miles in

Could possibly be your fuel sender...
Also could be that if you car was showing 0 miles already, it could have been right on the limit, so your fiver, didnt really do much, so just topped the reserve up, hence still showing 0 miles.....
Put a decent amount in and see if that makes a difference, if not, could be the fuel sender as mentioned.....do a search, plenty of info on it as its another one of those 'common' problems.

I got a scare when i first picked up my A3 last week, i put £60suid of Vpower in and when i turned the key it took about 10-15secs for the guage to move! I bricked it!
