What Detailing / Car Care Products Have You Bought / Ordered Today?

I feel your pain with the shoulder injury mate. Did my rotator cuff a few months back, took a lot of physio to sort out.

I'll be interested to hear a review of the Angelwax enigma shampoo and QD

+1 on that front, ended up having surgery for osteo ****** arthritis!

AngelWax do seem to do very good products, was actually on their website this week looking after seeing @A4A4 ‘s haul of stuff which included cleanliness. Managed to hold off buying as still have PLENTY snowfoam, shampoo, QED....well everything!

I have lived on Dominos in these 4 weeks. We'll, tbh fair to her she did leave food in the freezer that would've last 4-ish weeks but I couldn't be asked to put it in micro - too much hardwork and doesn't taste the same. And apart from breakfast (I love my breakfast) I havent ****** in the last nine years, I am only allowed in the kitchen to do the dishes. So, when Mrs complains I tell her it's your fault

That's the plan mate. I order a spare Green and White pads just in case. CG clean slate will be my first attempt to removing all the layers. Might use BH afterwards but we'll see.

Was looking to get some Fireball Fusion Tyre shine, but they are out of stock, so didn't bother with anything else in the end, as was only going to add Kwazar bottles (these are ace!), and some CB Air Freshener

Not bought anything but been thinking of a few things

Was thinking of buying a wax that I could apply with the DAS6, my friend let me use his meguiars liquid wax (he applied by hand), but I tried with the DAS6, but its too runny I think for the pads. So any recommendations for Sepang .. :)? Just trying to get more use out of the DAS6 really lol.

I bought a EZ Detail Brush for the alloys, but got the large one... I like it, but its a bit large fro parts of the alloy, so the smaller one (or another brand) would be quite nice.

Need some more bilt hamber auto wheel, will dilute 50/50 with water this time as I think people say it still works well enough?

Will probably get the meguiars high gloss try gel also, as the Simoniz back to black tyre shine I bought as a test seems pretty rubbish!

Having used Meguires Endurance tyre gel, I wouldn’t recommend it. Yes it is cheap, but it’s very greasy and doesn’t dry on the tyre. It therefore collects loads of dirt and is filthy stuff to clean off.

Recently bought some Gyeon Q2 Tire and first impressions are very good. Satin finish rather than glossy, but I like that. Get a cheap 50p sponge, cut into quarters and you have yourself 4x applicators. Little goes a long way so I expect it to last me a long time. It dries and bonds to the tyre, and not greasy. Save your money on the Megs tyre gel and spend just a few quid more on something that will last you a year+. Just my advice.

...and yes, BH Auto Wheel will take some dilution - and if your wheels are regularly maintained that should be fine. Tip on using - wash your wheels first before using it, otherwise you’re wasting product removing contaminants that are not bonded to your alloy. If you use it on ‘clean’ wheels, you can be sure you’re shifting the bonded brake dust. Don’t need to use it every wash, just every now and again.

Hope this helps.

Oh yes, big time hahah!

@Jimbob76 thanks for the response. I'll look into alternates to the tyre gell, I thought it was generally rated quite good. As for the auto wheel, yeah i use it first on dry dirty wheels.
Usually use auto wheel, then clean wheels with the brush etc, then snow foam car and do the rest. ... Hopefully this isn't too dreadful of a procedure haha.

Do you dry the wheels before putting on auto wheel?

I can highly recommend In2detailing - Crystal Ceramic Wax. Applied it to my A3 using a DA, easy on and easy off. For 20 quid is a great wax that leaves a deep shine / gloss

I also find the tyre gel problematic, given up on it now, it slings down the car too much, even after removing the excess and trying to apply to a dry tyre. Undoes all the good work of cleaning the car. Gonna try either fireball or Gyeon Q2 next
