Hi folks looking some help few weeks ago my a8 stopped and would not start checked pipes going into the high pressure pump and there was no fuel in them so suspected in tank pumps.
If I supply power to the 2 pumps in the tank the car will run and drive about happily.
After some digging about on the internet I found out that it's a j17 relay that supplies the pumps with power I tried looking everywhere and for the life of me I cannot find this relay.
Does anyone know where it's located because I checked under the ECU kick panel on drivers side RHD checked in the boot can't find it anywhere.
Interestingly when scanned with vcds there was only a few glow plug faults that's it really.
I'm puzzled it's such a nice car to drive I know all I would have to do is run a switched positive to the pumps and it would run but I'd quite like to get it figured out.
Thanks in advance.
