My build this morning has come forward yet again to BW 44, 26 Oct - lovin it(thats this month !!!!!!!
I think im just as excited as you by this news!! Cant wait to see it! Mines still not being built until March 21st!!

It comes with a built-in Golf R magnet.....
Sheesh... Took my 17 year-old son out for a drive late this afternoon, when I got back from the dealer. Low and behold, not one, but 2 Golf R's (two separate occasions) thought they would overtake me, slow down and then give it some welly.....
I think they were disappointed..... (in their cars performance!)

Ha! Ive lost count of the times per day i recheck! Just incase! Ha! Im hoping it shoots forward soon! The wait is unbearable!

I do not have mine yet! Just know the 5-cylinder is a better sound than the 4-cylinder LOL.
Yes mine will have the sports exhaust
Another 6 weeks or so for me to wait for mine.... Getting there!
6 weeks will fly by..... I've opted for the sports exhaust or the dynamic package over here, decided to change spec after doing more research on the mag suspension, demonstrator I drove had the standard suspension and exhaust it sounded wicked in dynamic mode. God knows what the neighbours are going to think when It's started at 5.30 in the morning in the garage with the sports exhaust at full blast

If it's mid Jan then that's fine I will wait till March.
I was thinking 3 weeks after BW, which would make it 1 week before Christmas.
I wonder if there is any festive delays with production, delivery etc.

Hi to you lucky guys that have started getting your cars. I'm new to "Your Audi". Can anyone give me an idea of how long each production stage takes please. Ie Prep, Panel shop, Paint shop, Assembly & Quality control.
My BW was 42. "Your Audi" was showing it would start construction on 12th October. This morning the date has gone and it is saying its in the Preperation Stage. Does this mean it's started to be built 10 days early lol
How long before I'm likely to be driving my car ?
It's confusing as I noticed yesterday a Glacier white customer with BW44 posted his was in Panel shop.
Please help I'm getting restless

Preparation stage means the build is locked and you can't make any further changes to spec.
Hi mine has progressed like this
Sept 10th preparation
Sept 23rd panel shop
Sept 24th paint shop
Sept 25th assembly
Sept 28th quality control
Oct 2 on train this morning
Will update as it progresses.

2 months now since ordering.
Strange thing is though we ordered a TT for the misses at the same time and no build date for that either - and thought the TT would get a date very quickly as don't believe the lead times on those are anything like the RS3.
Still holding out hope when I do eventually get a build date it will be by some miracle Jan / Feb or sooner so I could have it 1st March rather than Apr / May / Jun build ... now that would be depressing

I would be on to my dealer PDQ. 2 months and no idea is not acceptable. What does your order form say? Have you an order number?
both my orders originally with Basingstoke then with Portsmouth took around 2 months to get a BW - had that welcome to inglostadt mocking me every day which doesn't help either :-/
^ yep.. once your order is placed on the system, you should get the Order Number (can take upto 2 weeks from your actual visit to the dealer - some get it right away)
