RS3 8V Orders List

I thought I would start a thread to capture all of those whao have actually placed a confirmed factory order for a RS3 8V so that we can see each others progress, build week allocation, dealer selection and delivery dates etc. Who has put there money where there mouth is :cool: and whos will be the first to arrive!:hubbahubba:

So - I'll start.

Order placed yesterday and confirmed today. Specification is as per the signature below. Ordered through Ridegway Audi Newbury (with Louise). On waiting list, pending overnight order transfer Audi AG sales allocation team who will allocate Buildweek (so I'm led to believe)..... Trading in MY15 S3 (Oct 14); non-PCP (ie I'm paying for it). Zero discount on RRP.

Well my order is now in and despite having a pre order deposit paid since December, my dealer just informed me that they expect deliveries in December this year. So while to wait.

Everything I have read and learnt points to customer deliveries summer 2015 - not Dec 15...but welcome Scotty!!
 
Order placed 15th April and number 1 in the queue at Southend Audi. Been informed they are expecting demonstrators end of June and customer delivery end of July. Fingers crossed it arrives for AITP

Thats what I was led to believe. Aberdeen Audi have 15 order for the RS3 and I am one of the first slots to be allocated. But got an email late yesterday saying they had been notified that they will get December deliveries. Im in no mad rush to get the car to be honest. Got my spec below though :)

If it's not a rude question, roughly how much px did you get on your S3?

My own S3 Saloon (Nov 14) with all extras, insurances and service packages, came to a smidgeon over 40K, but I have no idea what px I would get for it today (5 months later).

A bog standard RS3 lists at £39,995 but will surely be nearer 45K once your favourite extras are specified. If a trade-in is appropriate, but the RS3 isn't going to materialise until late summer, at what point does the dealer place a px value on your current car? When you place your RS3 order or when you collect it?

I tried 3 dealers and got the same answer: £27K. I have done a deal with the dealer who I had ordered the car through, in order for me to go back to them. My order is exactly £47K with delivery, tax etc. The PX price I am actually getting is on the oredr, so I'll hold them to that!
 
Until I have seen one in the flesh and driven one, I wouldn't order one. I'm amazed people would place an order for a car they have never seen or driven. I hope you like it, that's all I can say as thus far, I've been a little underwhelmed just by the look of it and as reviews of the car start to emerge, there does seem to be a common theme that this is not quite the usual RS package. I've owned an RS4 and I have my suspicions that the new RS3 isn't going to be worth £8k more than an S3. We shall see - test drive already sorted, once local dealer gets their Nardo Grey RS3 in June ...

I can re-iterate what Tom P said :) confirmed today at Basingstoke Audi and spec = a touch over 48k. I know I know I said my ceiling was 47k but what the hell :p

And they quoted 27.5px on my order form, but I'm gonna see what WBAC offer as they beat Audi by 3k on my previous A5 at only 9 months old :)

Sweet work! I bottled it at 45.5K! December was muttered to me as a pesamistic assessment for delivery but still quoted delivery times should be hitting the Aug mark. A touch of expectation management I hope! Any timescales discussed when you ordered?
 
well my dealer today has said I will probably get mine before the dealer demo - I'm in again tomorrow so I'll press them for the date
 
Earlier this week in prep for orders opening on Thursday. Dealer gave me order and BW earlier today.
 
Amersham. I did register interest some time back and do buy lots of cars from them, personal and business

Ordered today at Aberdeen Audi.
Was quoted BW 41 probably longer due to exclusive paint.
Going to be a huge leap from the current chariot.

I have an Order with Stafford hopefully 1st on there list Deposit placed Sept 14 ordered Tuesday (14/04/15) Quoted Delivery Week 37 Going for Sepang and Black Leather/Red Stitching
 
I should get my estimated build date through tomorrow but Iv been told earl September time by the dealer, I'm the only one to order one at Carlisle Audi so far.
 
Got my order in with Stafford Audi too. No build week as yet. Sepang Blue for me too.....
 
I placed my order at Newbury Audi on Saturday. I was told expected delivery would be week 41 or 42. I'll be swapping a Daytona 8p RS3 for a Daytona 8v RS3 :)

Order in with Highland Audi in Inverness, no details as yet regarding build date
 
discount is offered in the first weeks or how long it takes to start offering them?
 
My dealer said today he has no BW on the first 3 orders that they currently have.....
 
He also mentioned the RS3 disappearing from the UK configurator site but didn't know why. He suspects pricing issue possibly......

Abolishing the Dynamic pack in favour of Sports Exhaust and Mag ride as stand alone options hopefully!!!

I'll still not spec either of them :)

Mag ride, just no.

Sports exhaust, I did think this over, ALOT, but by all accounts, the standard one sounds good enough.

No RS4 or 5 on the UK configuratior either so hopefully it's not an RS3 pricing issue
 
they've been gone from there a while now.

If you configure an RS6 with black styling pack, it defaults you to having black mirror caps - I hope to god they're not doing this with the RS3
