Spitting in the face is the worst thing she could have done to me!
It takes alot to make me flip but once I do I tend to go OTT, she would have probably experienced a couple of minutes of total irrational rage and I'd probably be in prison.
If I did manage to stay in the car though, I would have done what someone has already said, follow her till the end of her journey, that would have scared her enough I think!

I won't say exactly how it played out but I couldn't just let her walk away, it would've eaten me up inside knowing she did that to me and got off scot free. And although I don't feel proud of what I did, I do feel ok about it because 1) she didn't experience any pain, and 2) I respected her kids' presence a million times more than she did.


She should still count herself lucky though, because around here there are a lot of people who would've taken her head home with them.

My immediate reaction, quite honestly would have been to put her teeth through the back of her head, no messing. But obviously that isn't acceptable in any way!

But as has been said, the rational side of me would have just driven off. Not alot you can do without getting down to her level. If the kids were in school uniform I would have made sure I found out what school they went to a highlighted the event, not a lot they can do, but schools do not like having any involvement with things like that, and that includes associating the uniform.

I've had two situation where this has happend and my blood was boiling.

there was once an occasion when i was leaving a pub at closing time, and me and this random girl both tried to get into a taxi (she was not with me) that was already booked, i explained to this random dog that the taxi was booked and was unavailable, she kindly turned around to me and spat in my face! and told me where to go! charming!
without hesitation almost reflex like, i spat straight back in her face! lol
and then wiped my face!
2 wrongs dont make a right, but it did make me feel better and probably made her think a bit!
there then followed a torrent of abuse from me which sent her packing!

1. Check if any CCTV is active within the area as evidence.

2. Ring the police and remain at the scene, spitting in your face is assault, i'm sure she would have been happy with a criminal record.
