As promised, sorry there a bit dirty, need to give it a wash.
Think they've been refurbed which is why they look a little different - on factory fresh wheels the machined bit of the spoke is thinner than the rim :-
My A3 Saloon 2.OL TDI SLine 2yrs old and 65k
Very nice Sean, she looks well looked after
Cracking pic too.
As there seems to be very few cabriolets featured here this is my contribution....
Finally picked her up after being delayed at the dealer for three weeks... One person seems to be happy
Picked it up, drove 5 miles and then jacked up the car to paint the brakes, I do hate rusty brakes
The snow is melting slowly but surely.....
Some new pictures with the new 3M gloss black roof which was done on Monday. Pictures taken at Gleneagles Hotel, Auchterader, Scotland.
Standard S-Line shocks, H&R 40 mm all round and H&R spacers 15 front and 20 rear
so the new toy has arrived !!
Dan, really smart looking car
Can't help but notice you got a pretty high spec A3 with some after market additions too. Out of interest why didn't you go for an s3?
Thanks Simon much appreciated, very good question but I work offshore from Aberdeen, I live in the borders and I travel back and forward to Aberdeen quite a lot during a year (440 mile round trip) so I decided to go for top spec diesel which is alot better on the mpg and wallet. I like the look of the S3 and decided to make a rep of one. I am going to be installing a DTUK stage 2 box soon after I do 2000miles so will have 250bhp and 500nm of torque so in theory shouldn't be that far away from a S3 apart from it being a diesel and 50bhp short of the standard S3 300
Well that's me told!! lol
Love this colour so much when the sun appears
Picked up the new car on Wednesday from Coventry Audi, nightmare getting there on the train due to flooding etc, but worth it in the end & had a lovely drive back down the M1.
Love the Matt Chrome Roof Rails mate, they really add more definition to the car
Thanks Jassy, yes I think they really complete the look.
Just wanted to post a pic of my new A3 Sport after washing it today. Not had any detailing done yet, hopefully soon... Many on here that have an A3 seem to have SLine. For me, it was SLine for th Xenons, or Sport and Tech pack due to budget. I'd rather have the tech pack than Xenons... I also get to have blue seats! Might not be to everyone's tastes but I love them. Posted pics below as it was a real struggle to find any photos of any A3 Sport Rallye Cloth black + colour seats ( I found yellow ones that's it) so hopefully this can help others who may be interesting in speccing the black/blue Rallye cloth seats.
Looking good MrMoo
I am always tempted to white when I see pics of them all clean
Not so much when they're dirty
Hoping it'll stay clean for at least a week...
5 and a half hours later, it's up to standard. Here's a photo I took half way through with no number plate, looks so much better without it IMO.
Couple of pics of my ibis white s line after first quick wash after collecting Friday night.
ILP, comfort pack, hill hold, debadged.
Gave mine a wash yesterday, forgot it was silver
Here's pics of my A3 2.0T and it's interior back around when I took delivery of it in Nov 2014. Time flies.
Some recent shots I took.
Looks suspiciously like the car park for the Mahon falls in the Comeragh mountains
Well spotted jetron it is.
Here's my A3
A few shots of my interior after installing the RS3 steering wheel in my S3 and swapping the badges.
Well, my first attempt at a proper clean and polish went a bit pear shaped when I got called into work! Still had enough to time to finish it off, but had to rush, which is not ideal when you have a DA polisher in your hands!
From an underground car park in Manchester this morning :
Full detail last weekend. Carlack acrylic 2 stage kit & topped with Blackfire midnight sun carnuba. Does look good that Sepang but wish it was deeper and had more reflections.
3 months until the Mustang and counting...
Have you added a front splitter to that? Looks good.
any ideas what wheels to put on this car??
So true Simon
Nice S3 Sportback everything bar privacy stunning colour though
Took a drive on the Swedish countryside.....
So..the S3 stays.. she got a newer TT. Lol.
Wee wash Sunday.. needs a good detail, noticed some slight marring etc.. on the lookout for a good DA machine now.
For now I used paint! Will have a look for Censor Master.
Took a few photos while on my travels this weekend. The car isn't particularly clean, was too busy enjoying the drive in the rare sunshine!
