Cheers, no, these are off an S3/TT so they have the correct offset of ET49 I think the A5 ones are ET33.
Hi chaps, well I've been drooling over 987 Cayman's for the last few years, but very glad I dropped my dosh on this S3 instead, I think I'll get much more use out of it and will be a lot easier to live with. My first sports car since selling my Nissan 180SX back in 2005, so a tad overdue (midlife crisis?).
Took a little while to find a nice blue, 5 door, auto, not too many miles, with FSH (oh and black interior, got close many times, to find out it had a white interior!).
Was sold as stock but I've noticed it's got a couple of small mods, silicone intake hose, K&N filter and a GFB DVX Blow off valve. Not too sure what sort of effect the GFB is having (apart from the psssshhtt!), anyone else know much about them and whether they're a decent item?
Enjoying it as is for a bit, at least until the 6 months warranty runs out.
Plans are for some subtle mods, new tyres soon, dechroming, maybe some Maxton body enhancements, stage 1, we shall see!

Congratulations on your purchase! S3 is indeed a great car. I bought mine a couple months ago and I absolutely love it.
Despite being sold as stock by Audi dealership it turned out to be remapped so I would check that especially if it has silicone hose and BOV...

Thanks, they are little beasts! There's no real way to check for a remap is there except for taking to a tuning place?
Not the way I am aware of. I took it to the place that does remaps and they told me that my car has been mapped...

Gave the S3 some attention a couple of days ago , back out today for a quick touch up to get rid of fine dust and extra shine applied g thanks to Megs Ultimate QD

After years away from an S3, last one was 2015 (brand new), I am now back in what feels like a comfy slipper. Such a good all round car. Picked up cheap, 1 owner, Mag ride, Red calipers and the (not sure I like them) 19" wheels.
Few pics of the weekends work. Wearing Zymol Concours. The leather came from looking shiny to Matt, which I'm really pleased about, new tires and brakes all round, ready for the summer.

My 2016 PFL is still going strong, and only 38k miles too. Here she is on the tail of the dragon on the NC/TN border the other day (318 curves over 11 miles (2x - out and back)). There’s photographers dotted along the road and you get the pics online later. Here’s mine. Was exhausted at the end of it, and I didn’t wrap it thankfully.
This would really benefit from some Supernatural leather cleaner.
