If you are in a position to buy another one without telling the insurance company, I'd do that and swap all your bits over and then sell whatever you have left that you don't want. Insurance already knows, needed it uplifted Though my RAC would cover it but they wanted £500+!!! (£180+VAT just for coming, £1.69 each way for delivery and an "undisclosed" sum for use of a winch if it is "off road" but when pushed she said £200 plus!!) oh, and BTW When your air bag light is one.....the airbags still work!! I have a fecking big bruise on right hand to show for it christ it hurts when your hand is involuntarily fired into the A Pillar at 100mph!!

Glad no one was hurt! regarding your predicament, you'll get a lot more in parts - BUT you'll have a stricken car to deal with and a ton of hassle. What about buying another and rebuilding - take the opportunity to change the its you didn't like etc? However If you do choose to break it there's defo some bits I'd be interested in.

dibs on the engine mounts if there rs4/034 items. sorry for the vulture mode but i cant resist either, id be gutted in your position mate if you love the car id get another and swap the parts over and get what you can for the bits of the donor vehicle, either way you'll get more than the insurance payout as they just see the age and write it off as they see it as a old motor/car thats uneconomical to repair.
I'd just buy another tqs and swap it all over. Maybe go for black you'll be able to draw back some money from selling stuff you don't need. Pick the best bits from both cars and sell the **** that's not needed.

even with protected NCB once insurance knows you have had a prang it goes up. well it did for my sister anyways its a shame whats happened. I would look to re-shell all the good parts if it was me. good luck with whatever you choose
