Headlight Facing Down S3 8P

Noticed this morning when i turned my lights on the N/S headlight did its range control dip and then didnt return up. the O/S did and works fine.
Anything I can check or is the motor for the headlight U/S ?

Ideally you need to get it setup on vcds to check positioning.

This happened on mine but a levelling sensor had failed and threw up an error message on the dash, if you don’t have an error message you might just to recalibrate them.

I thought this but because its only 1 headlight playing up I dont think it is, plus I have no error on the dash.

So plugged into vagcom and had a play, i found when I carry out the motor check the n/s does nothing and the o/s goes up and down. Seems like the motor has packed up.
Next question ; can i buy a replacement motor?

Not a bad shout, I have a face lift model so not sure it would fit.

from what I recall, its a new housing for that problem
