Dip stick reading ?

hi i been checking my oil but show like this is it just from as I take it out so it touches etc ?? Or overfilled ?

Touches, you can see the definitive oil line stop on the hashing
 
Is that an after market dip stick ? much easier to read than the stock one.
 
Did you remove the dipstick, wipe it dry then dip the oil for a reading? You'll then see a more defined reading.
 
I can't see where the oil level is in the photo but if it lies between max and min marks then you're ok. The Owners handbook does go into detail on how to read the level. My TFSI manual says leave it 5 mins. after driving before taking a reading. If you are getting the same consistent readings then you are reading it correctly.
