Noticed my calipers are in terrible condition, looks black/rusty. I assume the car when new came with black or some dark shade. However is there a certain audi paint code that they paint them in?

Black smoothrite is pretty close.

Is that a certain brand? Like Hammerite?

I’m not sure to go with black or silver. Is the one you mention a Matt or gloss?

Yes it is the Hammerite brand but smooth rather than a hammered finish.

It’s gloss almost like an enamel finish .

I would recommend a satin black heat resistant paint.Halfords have it in stock and its best to buy paint rather than aerosol.I done mine recently they were bad as yours were.

Any photos mate?

Have used silver Hammerite Smooth on countless cars. One good application usually lasts a couple of years.

I’ve seen a few photos of the smooth. It’s quite glossy. Is there a Matt option? Ideally want them to be subtle.
