I am going to have to figure out how to extend my downswept tdi exhausts now,anyone done this?

part no. 3 in the below is the same as the part no. listed on ebay. this is for an avant

all avant only parts start with 8e9 and all saloon start with 8e5.

On what car? Have you already got an exhaust exit either side?

Normally people buy the tips from somewhere like Powerflow and weld them onto the back box.

Hi,
I have the 180 2.5 tdi with twin exits so just need to change the tips.

just cut the tips off that are there now and get some new shiny ones welded on. im doing the same thing at the mo. the rear apron is all primed and will be painted and fitted this weekend

where are you getting your tips from?

not to sure yet, im going to fit the valance first, then probably have a look at powerflow or scorpion, see what will look to my eye the best. As for size im not a fan of the 100mm tips that fill the recess fully, il probably go between 75-90mm

they are only £100 new from the main dealers,
