Just wondering if anyone had issues with the clutch slipping, the car it's self is 2009 a4 tdi sline, bought the car at 64km at 70km my clutch pack in, but was covered under warranty, at 76km clutch started to slip on 4th 5th and 6th, took it back to the main dealer demand to get it sorted, they strip it down and record the finding, there report says that the clutch been burned-out as scoring on the plate, they tried to blame me on my driving, that I ride on the clutch, which I took very offensive at considering I'v been driving over 25 years and not having a problem with clutch issue, after couple of hours of arguing goes by, we settle on a price that I agreed on, only reason that I didn't pursued further cause I needed the car back for work, they put in a Sach clutch in this time part number 636440490 with a years guarantee, all seem well till 90km then it started to slip again, this time I'v put the car in to my best friend garage to strip it down and replace another clutch kit and find out what the problem with clutch , they couldn't find no fault, just wondering if anyone had issues with this? Only thing that I know, my friend garage definitely put in the correct clutch kit, but with evanhalshaw, I didn't see the clutch getting put in,

Replaced Sachs full clutch kit, after ~15k km started to slip. Vent back to garage, stripped down, it was all burned and blue. Got a blame due to bad driving. Had 7 cars with stick, never any problems..until now..

Has it had just the clutch or clutch and dual mass flywheel?

You need to replace both the clutch and flywheel really, not worth just doing the clutch.

Ours slipped at 85 000 miles but I'd had it remapped and I've had a new clutch and flywheel and now it's fine.

Your looking at £800 upwards for a clutch and flywheel fitted at a clutch and gearbox specialist.

Standard problem on the A4 TDI. My clutch has been juddering since 40,000 miles. Now on 107,000 miles, CBA to spend £1,000 when it will just go again! I just adjust my driving style accordingly.
