Hello all, I'm trying to figure out the annual tax for this car.... its 222 g/km so is group K for road tax. One dealer I spoke says this is registered after 2006 so therefore is £425. One dealer says no its under 225 g/km so is £245 a year..... When I looked on Parkers website it says this car is 189 g/km in a 2001 -2009 group, I know this is wrong; I'm sure parkers are using the latest CO2 figures for the more efficient 09 version of this engine.....hmmm. Anyone actually have an 07 reg 3.0TDI quattro auto S-line or le mans and can confirm what they pay in road tax? Many thanks.

yes and its fooking expensive, i got stung last month on mine.... its around 425 a year
on the facelifted when they boosted the power from 233 to 240 it then dropped the emissions to the lower band

Band K includes cars that have a CO2 figure over 225g/km but were registered before 23 March 2006.

Just had a further look around at 3.0 TDIs. Seems that some 06 3.0 TDIs come in at 229 g/km so are band L and £400 (if registered after some date in 2006). But the 07 3.0 TDI le mans are 222 g/km and band K at £245...... Hmmm better check the log book when buying...

Parkers is good, but a bit info overload sometimes, best place I found is to go on to the actual DVLA web site and enter your car reg and model and you will get the offcial price back from them.
I also have a 3.0 TDi and knew there were a couple of different models with different outputs for the g/km depending on the year.

Then stick in the Reg and Audi as the make and it will tell you everything you need to know!
