Audi only want 22 quid each including VAT for the inner and outer boots mate so not sure I'd agree....
Anyway, I'm going to change the entire joint now I've given it some thought. Getting ever worsening vibration under acceleration which I would peg to a CV joint normally, as well as clunking and grinding. The spilt in the boot in gargantuan (check me out ) so I suspect most of the grease has been deposited everywhere except from the CV bearings! Based on that I'd rather just change it!
