Air filter

hi im lookin at gettin a k&n pannel filter of k&n 57i induction kit 4 my 07 a3 2.0 tdi 170, just wonderin which will benifit the most, as the pannel is 35 n 57i is 240 and ive heard induction kits suffer heat socke on diesels, any help will b appreciated cheers chris

I had a Green panel filter in my A3 TDI - can't say I noticed much difference with it in but for he sake of £30 or there abouts you may as well.

Don't bother with an induction kit, just stick with the stock intake and fit a performance panel filter

I was recommended the green filter by members of seatcupra.net and never had any MAF issues or problems

Very little power gains but they do allow more free flowing air and also give a nice note.

We do the Pipercross foam panel filters which don't use oil.

Had a Green Panel on my LCR many moons ago, not sure why that brand doesn't seem to have much traction for the 2.0 TFSI engines?
