Locking/Alarm Prob

Well after bein away for 2 years and missing my s3, i went to have a look at another today... Had 2 problems..

1, When pulling off there seemed to be a knocking noise from the front n/s..

2, The remote for unlocking doors doesnt work.. you can unlock the drivers door using the lock but it doesnt deactivate the alarm and as soon as you open door the alarm goes off.. I cant get into passenger door or boot..

Any ideas..

the knocking could be a host of probs...bearings,cv joints/gaiter split,top mounts/loose wheel nuts/tracking
the lock problem...dunno apart central locking pump ?
